Just trying to get some sort of definitive information on location so far all I've been able to find is Richmond, VA. We are less than 2 weeks from the event and nothing.

Also wondering when we are going to get some information on number of bids for the section and on cost for the tournament?

Hi! We've been talking on RSD about the failure of organization that is our section, but I thought I'd respond on USAU because maybe someone reads this but not RSD?

According to the lame Score Reporter page (http://scores.usaultimate.org/scores...ournament/9852), "The 2011 USA Ultimate Capital Open Sectionals tournament will be held at 5241 Ridgedale Parkway, Richmond, VA 23234 on September 10th and 11th. ".

There is no rain date, we don't know how many teams are attending, how much money the tournament will cost, nor who we're playing.

Yeah those are all the same questions I still have, and the TD hasn't replied to numerous emails.

So far we've figured out that there is definitely no rain plan. In the likely case of the grass fields being declared unplayable, we may have only 4 turf fields, some of them intermittently, and we may have to play until 10PM each night if we want to complete sectionals.
