Dear USA Ultimate Members,

As you can see, USA Ultimate has launched a new website, and we would like to invite you – our members – to play an integral part in one of site’s most exciting new features, the official USA Ultimate Message Board.

We are currently searching for 10-12 members to act as moderators for the message board. This is your opportunity to serve the Ultimate community in an official capacity!

The official USA Ultimate message board will serve as a forum for USA Ultimate members and the Ultimate community to discuss the sport in a meaningful, constructive and interactive way.

As a moderator, you would be expected to:

• Frequent the message boards daily
• Initiate topics to start and encourage discussion
• Help answer as many posted questions as possible
• Direct the tone of conversations to be productive and welcoming to new players, children and parents of Ultimate players
• Help minimize flames, trolling and otherwise insulting and derogatory comments
• Reorganize discussions into the appropriate sections and lock threads if they become off-topic
• Help develop and enforce the published user guidelines
• Delete “spam” and inappropriate messages that violate the user guidelines.
• Offer general assistance to users as needed.

Candidates must possess considerable knowledge of the sport of Ultimate, as well as message board etiquette. We would like to engage the services of those who are passionate about the sport of Ultimate, who want to help show the sport at its best, and who are dedicated to contributing to the Ultimate community.
