This week's Blog of the Week is Leaving My Feet (http://leavingmyfeet.blogspot.com), authored by Mary Kate "Uzi" Hogan. Uzi started playing ultimate her freshman year at USC and was an integral part of the Hellion's quick rise in ultimate standings, from a largely unknown team to their quarters appearance at the 2010 College Championships. Uzi is known as an incredibly spirited and talented handler, and those who have had the privilege of playing with and against her will recognize her arsenal of throws as well as her collected and spirited play. This season Uzi is playing with NYU's Violet Femmes. Leaving My Feet takes on the switch from West Coast to East Coast ultimate, with tournament write ups, thoughts on east versus west styles and ruminations on why it's okay to care about every detail.
