With the College Season heating up, more teams each weekend are traveling to and playing in tournaments. It can be hard enough to remember to consume enough calories, so the thought of cracking open a book on Linear Algebra at the end of the day is probably the last thing on your mind. Having everything done ahead of time is ideal for keeping your focus on your team and your role, but sometimes the workload doesn't make that possible.
In this week's Topic of the Week we ask the student/athletes out there:
- How do you maintain the proper student/athlete balance?
- What has been your experience with teachers/professors being understanding of Ultimate as a reason for scheduling flexibility?
- Do you have any routines that help keep you focused amidst distraction?

Each Thursday usaultimate.org will feature a different topic of discussion on its message boards in order to engage USA Ultimate members and the Ultimate community around the world. The idea is to encourage discussion about some of the current events happening in the sport of Ultimate, and to collect opinions, ideas and feedback from our members and athletes across the globe. Interesting, exciting, controversial or informative, a featured topic will be chosen each week and representatives from USA Ultimate will provide their input in an effort to enhance its communications with the Ultimate world. Please send topics you’d like to see discussed to matthew@hq.usaultimate.org
