During the fall season, Oregon Fugue coach Lou Burruss approached me with some ideas to increase media coverage for college women's ultimate. After some back and forth, we decided to pursue the creation of a blogroll. We emailed a ton of college women's ultimate players, and enlisted their help with this project. As we head into the heart of the college season, it seems appropriate that Lou's blog be our featured blog this week. Fugue alum Claire Sharman brings us this week's Without Limits (http://withoutlimitsultimate.com) Blog of The Week.

You can also check out the Blogroll (http://withoutlimitsultimate.com/blogroll) for some Pres Day recaps from a number of different college players. Thanks for reading!

This week's featured blog takes us to the Northwest Region. Win the Fields (http://winthefields.blogspot.com), written by Lou Burruss, is a comprehensive ultimate blog that tackles various ultimate conundrums and provides insight into the women's college ultimate scene.

With years of experience on the college and elite club scene, Lou's thoughts on topics such as regional restructing and issues surrounding Spirt of the Game are well-structured and incredibly valuable. In addtion to general ultimate talk, Win the Fields features tournament write ups and team analysis as Lou begins his 4th year as head coach of University of Oregon's Fugue.

One recent topic on Win the Fields is Lou's take on the referee debate. Check out http://winthefields.blogspot.com/ for the complete series, titled "....or Why Refs are a Bad Idea".
